Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

CMS has conducted extensive research of EMR software. Currently, the Linux based software that we use has a HL 7 interface with MediNotes. Independent research by some of our clients has determined that although MediNotes is extremely functional as an EMR, billing services are still required for proper follow-up with Insurance Carriers and patients. EMR has proven to be most successful for storing patient information without having to keep track of patient charts.

Access to our Servers

Our servers are located on-site and continuously backed-up at a secure, off-site facility. They are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The servers are always accessible to our clients who use the Linux based software that we provide for their practice.

CMS has the ability to submit claims electronically to all Insurance Companies that currently accept electronic claims. We verify with ALL Insurance Carriers that the transmissions were sent and received successfully in order for the claims to be processed as quickly as possible.
